2. Helpful Assistance for Work Injuries

We understand the risks you face daily. Our associations will assist you when you are in accidents or injured at work.

 

We offer short-term assistance and work-injury support through our Work Injury Relief Scheme (WIRS). If you experience work-related injuries and receive five or more days of medical leave, you will receive $250 in FairPrice vouchers as a member.

3. Financial Help When You’re in Need

When eligible, you will have exclusive access to these NTUC assistance programmes:

 

  • Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP):  You will enjoy 50 per cent course fee support for up to $250 each year. If you are over 40, your funding support will increase from $250 to $500.
  • NTUC Care Fund (e-Vouchers)Eligible members can get up to $100, with an additional $100 for each eligible school-going child and an extra $100 per eligible school-going child studying in a special needs school.
  • NTUC Hardship Grant: This is a one-time grant to low-income NTUC members who suffer hardship arising from fire or flood, death, total and permanent incapacity, or serious chronic medical conditions.
  • CapitaLand-U Care Resilience & Enablement Fund (CAP+Ure Fund)An interim grant that supports your children’s daily necessities and schooling needs if you are impacted by a total and sudden (unexpected) loss of income.

 

Additionally, whether you are a taxi driver, PHV driver or freelance delivery worker, you can also benefit from free workshops that equip you with financial skills for self-employed persons.
