Project Liquid Gold

New mothers continue to face challenges in nursing their child after they resume work. Project Liquid Gold is an initiative targeted to raise awareness of the importance of breastfeeding and to advocate for more support for these new mothers who are returning to work after maternity leave.

World Health Organisation recommends mothers worldwide to exclusively breastfeed infants for the child's first six months to achieve optimal growth, development and health. Thereafter, the babies should be given nutritious complementary foods and continue breastfeeding up to the age of two years or beyond.

It is with this in mind that U Family launches Project Liquid Gold. Project Liquid Gold aims to raise awareness on the need to support working mothers to breastfeed their babies in the early stages of their lives even after the mothers return to work from their maternity leave.
